This assignment used the video camera itself as a frame to explore composition in order to see the world of moving images more fully and critically. In this assignment I chose to focus on the visual element of lines in the world of Tennis. These lines could be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, curved, repeated, or single. I chose to use Tennis because the whole game is made up of lines. They make up to court, the racket strings, the line of the player, the path of the ball, the net, etc. The guidelines for this assignment were that the camera had to stay still on a tripod for the duration of each shot, there could not be any sound, and the video had to be at least 2 minutes long.
