For my Intro to Video final class assignment I had to do a significant expansion on one of the pieces I had created earlier in the semester. I chose to expand on my lines video from the Seeing in Motion project. In this project the video camera itself was used as a frame to explore moving images. The camera had to stay still on a tripod for the duration of each shot. In this video lines are explored as the foundation of the game of tennis. They make up the court, the racket strings, the line of the player, the path of the ball, the net, etc. In this expansion I also added sounds of the ball being bounced and hit. These sounds are made up of the lines of soundwaves.
