For this project, I was tasked with creating a video essay for the video game Animal Crossing. I had to research and create a 15 minute video essay that incorporated everything we learned throughout the semester. In creating this video essay, I thought a lot about different ways to tie the Animal Crossing style throughout my whole video. One way I did this was by creating text boxes that resembled the text boxes in the video game for my text call outs. I also used the same loading transitions from the video game between the chapters of my video essay. Part of my assignment was to write and record a voice over script for my video essay. I got all of the footage from YouTube and edited it together to coincide with my research and voice over.
